MAKING POSITIVE CHANGE SIMPLE.

FOR THE DLP MEMORIAL WHIFFLE BALL TOURNAMENT

HOSTED ON AUGUST 29TH 2026

AT THE LITTLE K

Since 2008, the DLP Memorial Foundation has been honored to support the pediatric burn unit at Children's Mercy Hospital. Under the leadership of Dr. Aguayo and his team, Children's Mercy has created a compassionate, innovative, and nationally recognized environment where children receive the specialized burn care they need while families find comfort during challenging times.

In addition to supporting pediatric burn care, the Foundation is dedicated to helping families facing pediatric cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Our commitment is deeply personal. During one of the most difficult periods in our own family's journey, we experienced firsthand the generosity, compassion, and support of others. Today, we are honored to pay that kindness forward by helping families facing similar challenges.

Through the generosity of our donors and supporters, The DLP Foundation provides assistance with medical expenses, travel, lodging, meals, special needs, and other everyday necessities that can quickly become overwhelming during a child's treatment. By easing these burdens, families are able to focus their energy where it matters most, caring for their child.

Beyond financial assistance, we strive to be a source of hope, encouragement, and connection. Whether through direct support, community resources, or simply helping families find the right people at the right time, our goal is to ensure that no family feels alone in their journey.

Every contribution helps extend the loving embrace that defines our mission. Together, we are providing comfort, hope, and meaningful support to children and families throughout our community when they need it most.
